(April 22, 2008) – Today Codeblack Entertainment, the first vertically integrated African-American owned film studio, announces that comedy icon Bill Cosby has joined the already impressive cast of interviewees for the provocative documentary film entitled Why We Laugh: Black Comedians on Black Comedy. This 90-minute film promises to be a no holds barred, raw, uncensored, humorous - and truthful - look at black comedy’s past, present and future through the eyes of some of the black community’s most iconic figures. There are also plans to make “Why We Laugh” a 5-part series for television.<
